Behind the guides

How we vet every deal

The exact checks a product has to pass before it earns a place in a Vorde Deals guide.

A deal is only a deal if the price is really lower

Retail is full of theatre: inflated "was" prices, countdown timers that reset at midnight, coupons that never applied to anything you would actually buy.

Vorde Deals exists to cut through that. Before anything reaches a guide, it goes through the same three-stage review — no exceptions, and no paid placements.

The three-stage review

Price history

Today's price gets compared against the product's own recent history. If the "discount" is just last month's price with a red label on it, it doesn't get in.

Seller & stock

We favour listings from reputable sellers with real stock and clear return policies — a bargain that never ships is not a bargain.

Coupon validity

Codes are checked before they're recommended. Expired or single-use coupons waste your time, and wasted time is the opposite of what we're here for.

Where the recommendations come from

Our guides are researched around what shoppers actually ask — the comparisons, the "is it worth it" questions, the right timing for seasonal sales.

When you buy through some of our links, retailers and marketplaces (such as eBay) may pay us a small commission. It never changes the price you pay and never decides what we recommend — our affiliate disclosure spells it out in full.

See it in practice

Open any guide and you'll find the fair price, the timing and the traps — laid out in plain language.
